Background

My name is Helene Alpini and I created AlpiLingual to encourage Americans to learn Italian, French, and German in the USA. I was raised in Texas in an Italian Polish family, and moved to Italy after high school to pursue my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Linguistic Sciences at universities across Italy, France, and Austria. I began teaching languages to students in 2013, working with children and adults of various ages and levels. After living and working in Europe for nearly 15 years, I moved back to Texas in 2023 and realized how much an additional linguistic opportunity could benefit my home community, Austin, Texas.

Learning

AlpiLingual welcomes individuals, couples, and group students, offering courses both in-person and remote. I personalize content and pace to ensure each person's linguistic goals and learning needs are met, and I offer flexibly to align with scheduling preferences. My teaching method incorporates learning through converssation, reading, listening, and grammar that is within everyone's reach. Physical and digital resources follow the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR - A1-C2).

Enrollment

Courses are available to students of any level and age, including children and adults. Individuals and couples have the option to sign up for a course or book a 30-minute trial. For parents interested in Italian group for kids, AlpiLingual's updated group schedule can be found here. Both new students and parents have the possibility to book a 30-minute trial lesson (outside of groups classes) to meet one another and discuss current language level and goals.
